Accommodation options at Whangateau Holiday Park

Whangateau Holiday Park has a range of accommodation options that take advantage of the park’s superb facilities and provide great value for money.

There are Family Cabins and Budget Units. These are clean and comfortable offering all the advantages of the holiday park without a tent, caravan or campervan.  We also have Self-Contained Units and Waterfront Caravans; available for guests. (minimum stay periods and fees may apply)

For campervans, caravans and tents there are over 80 powered Waterfront and powered Regular sites available, so you can enjoy what Whangateau is best known for ... relaxing, unwinding and enjoying the friendly and tranquil atmosphere.

Self-Contained Unit

Our two self contained studio units can sleep up to four guests with a queen bed and a set of single bunk beds. 

The units are fully self-contained with own bathroom, kitchenette, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, smart TV with Freeview and DVD player.

2 Room Unit

Our two room adjoining units are a great option for families and can sleep up to 9 guests. There is a queen bed and a set of single bunk beds on one room and a queen bed, set of single bunk beds and a single bed in the adjoining room.

Waterfront Deluxe Cabin

The newest addition to our accommodation offer! This luxury Cabin sits neatly on the waterfront framed by pohutakawa trees, with a deck to relax on and enjoy the view in front of you. 

Experience a luxurious cabin experience for two people. Whatever the weather you can be immersed in Mother Nature, then retreat to your private room and the comfort of your queen bed.

Family Cabins

The Family Cabins are a great way for couples, families or a group of friends to enjoy Whangateau. Clean, modern and comfortable, these cabins are close to the main holiday park facilities. 

Queen bed is fully made up and bedding provided for bunk beds.

Waterfront Caravans

Looking for the quintessential kiwi camping experience? We have 5 waterfront caravans with different bedding configurations to choose from. Clean and comfortable, the caravans are close to the main holiday park facilities.

The onsite caravans are a great way for couples, families or a group of friends to enjoy Whangateau.

Family Units

Family Units can sleep up to five people and have a queen bed, set of single bunk bed, and a single bed. 

In-room facilities include jug, toaster, fridge, heater, Smart TV with Freeview & DVD player, table and chairs.

Budget Units

Available in a range of bedding configurations, sleeping up to five or six people. 

In-room facilities include jug, toaster, fridge, heater, Smart TV with Freeview & DVD player, table and chairs.

Campsites

We have 48 powered sites available for your next camping, motorhome, caravan or campervan adventure. 

Water is supplied at some power plinths. RCD-protected caravan plug or adapter is required. Please ensure you have a current electrical warrant of fitness.

Cancellation within 15+ Days: 25% non refundable deposit applies
