Waterfront and Regular Powered Camp Sites

We have 48 powered sites available for your next camping, motorhome, caravan or campervan adventure. 

Water is supplied at some power plinths. RCD-protected caravan plug or adapter is required. Please ensure you have a current electrical warrant of fitness. We offer a small number of camping leads for hire at $12 per day.

Waterfront Powered Sites

With nothing between you and stunning views overlooking Whangateau Harbour our waterfront powered sites are the ideal place to pitch your tent or park your caravan or campervan.

Get close to nature, sit back, relax and unwind. Walk straight down onto the beach and enjoy safe swimming and water sports.

Sites are 8m x 10m with usable space of 5.5m x 8.5m allowing for the required 1.5m firelane. Maximum of 6 guests per site.

Large Family Powered Sites

Our large family powered sites are ideal if you have a large tent or would like a bit more space. These sites can accommodate 8 people.

A short walk to the waterfront, an excellent playground, and spacious and clean kitchen, shower and toilet facilities all close by.

Large Family Powered sites are 12m x 10m with usable space of 10.5m x 8.5m.

Regular Powered Sites

Pitch your tent or park your caravan or campervan and enjoy everything Whangateau has to offer. A short walk to the waterfront, an excellent playground, and spacious and clean kitchen, shower and toilet facilities all close by. 

Sites are 8m x 10m with usable space of 5.5m x 8.5m allowing for the required 1.5m firelane. Maximum of 6 guests per site.
